Our goal is to provide information to pediatric clinicians, parents and child care providers to promote judicious antibiotic use in children and to reduce the prevalence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. REACH Mass began as a research study in 8 study communities in Massachusetts, and has developed education programs for parents of
children under 6 years, childcare providers, and clinicians. Now in collaboration with America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) we are making available:
- Parent education materials to clinicians and health plans for use in their practices.
- Educational content for parents through the REACH Mass website.

REACH Mass was funded by the U.S. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and was conducted with the approval of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The information provided should not be taken as clinical recommendations of our collaborating organizations.
